Many of you shopaholics may have heard of the great black friday sales that happens the day after Thanksgiving; but for those of you who have no clue what it’s all about let me just say read on!

Black Friday (shopping) is the day after Thanksgiving in the USA. Since Thanksgiving falls on the fourth Thursday in November, black friday sales may be as early as the 23rd and as late as the 29th of November. Black Friday is not an official holiday, but many employers give the day off, increasing the number of potential shoppers. Retailers open as early as 5 am or even earlier and offer lots of deals to draw people to their stores.

Great huh? Want to know something greater? Aside from saving money when shopping on black friday sales; you can avoid the hassle of having to stand in line with the crowd by shopping online! In the Black Friday Website you can browse online your favorite stores like Toys R Us, Babies R Us, Ikea, Sears, Target, Wallmart and see what great discounts they offer. Not only that, their website sends out email alerts that let you know when new black friday ads have been posted. This is a great way to plan holiday shopping months ahead.

I am saving up for the black friday sales starting right now!

My husband does not have a credit card. Can you believe that? He applied once but I think his application got lost because he never got a return call from the bank! He never applied again because he hated the hassle of submitting requirements and stuff.

I have two. One is a supplementary card and the other is my personal card. We have actually survived with using only my card for months. However, lately expenses have been increasing steadily ~ from Ozzy’s clothes, milk, vitamins to our groceries, insurance payment and car bills. Using credit cards prove to be very helpful in times when cash is hard to get by. Some credit cards even double as discount cards and others offer points for freebies like when we got our free Sony PSP.

Good thing that there are sites that offer information on credit cards wherein my husband can research online for the right card that will best fit his needs. He can also compare the various credit cards and once he has chosen the card best suited for him, he can easily apply online. That’s it, very hassle free.

He’s hoping that this time around he will get accepted and get his very first credit card.

Downtime

I don’t know if my readers noticed (I pretty much guess you do!) THIS site of mine experiences downtime sometimes, right? I don’t know. I am seriously thinking of changing my host. But, its too early for me to change again. I’ve self-hosted this blog for - like - less than a month & it’s free. It’s the best thing about it. Thanks Boss/Dad. muah.

Grrr. But it’s irritating when I can’t log in when I want to. Especially IF I badly have the case of *must blog* feeling.

Haaaii, ranting here, still zero; unlike my other blog basking in the glory of 4PR.

Anyway… back to changing my host, Should I, should I?
