What up with me?
My mom’s coming home today. She went on a Marian Tour for 3-weeks & she’s finally coming back. No more groceries & domestic issues to worry about. Teehee
Super irritated with work. Also, the internet connection is acting up. I cannot work properly & I can’t blog properly. I wanted to bloghop but the pages can’t load. Haii.
On top of that, it’s freaking hot in Cebu. Goodness.
On the brighter side of things, if the weather will continue, we may spend the weekend in a nearby resort to relax & have family bonding time with just me,hubby and Ozzy.
Also, I have Baby Einstein CD’s!! Got ‘em all for free. I didn’t even realize I have download-able stuff right in my fingertips. Amazing what computer & internet can do for us these days.
+Update on Hubby’s VISA Application+
We are waiting for a letter from Norway as requested by the Consul but the letter’s taking forever to arrive. I personally have not had any experience sending/receiving post from outside the country (because we use Fedex or DHL most of the time) so I don’t have a clue how long the Post Office takes to deliver snail mail.
Any Idea? I should do a complete market research regarding this, I mean, how many still use the Postal Office really? We can get our bills and mail online. I wonder if snail mail will become extinct in the future.

It is official, this blog is upgraded from WP version 2.3.1 to version 2.5.1
That fact may be so-so to a bunch of you techie’s out there but its a big deal for me ~ hehehe. I was really2x careful in reading the instructions. Even printing them out and reading them over the weekend. (yes, I am a nerd)
At first, I was content in never upgrading (ever) because I was too scared of loosing valuable data. My posts, the links, imagies, widgets & plugins. It’s too tiresome to install all of them again so I left them alone until I noticed that
1.) there’s no more choice of visual/html when posting only html!
2.) I don’t get alerts thru emails anymore when someone comments on my page and
3.) some plugins don’t work anymore…
So there, I had to upgrade. Thanks Thea for your help (as always) and thanks God for no glitches!
P.S. There is still something odd about my related posts. Yen? Yoo-hoo? A ‘lil help.

Okay, I admit I panicked when I read the title of the article in the Philippine Daily Inquirer last Tuesday, April 2.
Found in the LifeStyle section of the newspaper; I read how some blogs had to close because it ruined their lives. One was forced to close by the parents because the blog exposed her partying & boozing ways. One claimed her posts regarding her hatred for her job caused her that job.
According to that article here are some things you should think about when you blog:
- You don’t know who is reading your page. ~your boss maybe reading! He’ll know you’re spending time blogging rather than working. Tsk.Tsk. I’m guilty of this.
- What you post can make or break your career. ~ refer to #1
- Will your post hurt anyone? ~ although personally I believe that my blog is my own & what I write is my right i think it is best to practice restraint & prudence in the words used or just avoid naming names. Unless of course they owe you $70,000.00
- Can your entries be lifted and used against you? ~ place javascript that will prevent readers from right-clicking your entries and photos. hah! there’s still Print Screen.
- Will your entries attract the wrong kind of people? ~ yah like stalkers or pedophiles! Haiii, I have to be very careful in posting pictures.
Personally, I am careful in my posts. (I think!) any helpful tips guys?
