I am back.

I am sure some of you may have been wondering why I haven’t updated in a while; for those who do know, well I am back. Those who have no clue - well, I am back from Singapore. It was a 4 night 3 days vacation in the Lion City.

We visited Little India, China Town, we rode the cable car to Sentosa Island, we went to Underwater World, we saw the pink (who knew there were fab pink dolphins!? not me…) dolphin show, we went around Orchard road (got nothing:’( except for pasalubongs) and of course we went up the head of their national symbol - the Merlion. (Sentosa not in the Merlion Park)

It was fun but super tiring, by the second day Ozzy finally got his wish - he was ready to go home. He got sick and told me he wanted to “uli na” saying he misses his yaya and the “sabaw“.

But all in all it was a great trip. Singapore is clean and a very disciplined country. I envy the wide, clean and green city. People are courteous and nice; I hope to have stayed longer though - but that can wait when Oz is a little bigger.

Here’s a sneak peak of the Dolphin Show. More stories to follow, for now, I need to get back to work and look for some tv furniture and tv set for our room.

Are you online most of the day? Do you actually use the expression LOL in actual conversation? My sister convinced me to drive her to the salon and pay for her haircut as my early birthday gift. She’s turning 27 on the 27th. Woop-pee-doo!

So, while waiting for her I took the time to browse and go online! You never know what you’ve missed in those 30 minutes of being away, right?

So anyway, I could not resist…After seeing my picture; I realized I wanted a haircut as well. If you must know, I had my haircut a little over a month ago. But in my defense, my hair grows awfully fast.

I don’t have a before & after picture ~ maybe because I was in a hurry to go home and finish the errands. All I know is I love my hair short. It’s easier to manage and it has this “slimming affect” on my face; people often say I look like I thinned down when in reality my weight has never really gone down. Guess I won’t need to go through those weight loss pill reviews after all.

Yesterday was super enjoyable for us. Ozzy and I, together with my sister & dad went to a nearby resort to cool off. It was a perfect way to spend a lazy Saturday. We headed to the beach around 9:00AM and went home by 2:00. The boy was asleep by 2:05. hah.

That’s the beauty of Cebu everything is near.

I even had time to got to a Franchising Fair in SM City Cebu in the late afternoon. Talk about super tiring day. But it was fun, memorable and worth it.

I hate this day. Totally utterly hating it.

It all started when Ozzy & I woke up late. Red flag was up and I was caught off-guard! I didn’t realize it would start early, eww.eww.

So anyway we hurriedly had breakfast and took a bath because we had to be at the Gym by 930 and doctor by 1130. If I were to grade the little boy on his behavior in class today it would be 2 out of 5! He was very very restless and he reluctantly listened to the teacher’s instructions.

He just wanted to go up and down the slides the whole time.

I didn’t want to go inside because #1 I wanted to take pictures and #2 My tummy was really hurting. But the boy insisted I be with him inside so I went in, despite the cramps and back ache. It didn’t help at all that he ran around the whole place the whole time.

After Gymboree, we had to have Ozzy’s Typhoid Shot..In the doctors place I learned that Ozzy did not gain weight at all and in addition to that bad news the parking lot was so freaking far! Hot + Cramps + Back Ache = Grumpy Vannie.

The Yaya was super irritating too. She kept on texting and I had to keep telling her what to do, what I need what I wanted. I hate that I keep reminding her about things like wipes, water etc because by this time she should already know the drill. Imagine me looking after him in the doctors waiting area while she was busy texting and taking calls!!!! I even told her stop entertaining boys your too young to date anyway (15!), if not I’ll get mad and send her home to Samar.

She even forgot to give Joshua’s milk before class. Grrr. Poor baby.

Really, I am so grumpy today, I don’t even want to hang out with myself.

The second irritating most stupid thing is that there’s once again problems with my funds in Paypal. I was not able to withdraw them yet AGAIN. yadda yadda yadda… to cut the long ranting short I lost a few dollars more.

Also the maids her at home are also useless. (sometimes!) When you don’t tell them what to do they go inside their room and just yap on the phone all afternoon! (stupid unlimited text and call) Imagine this, at 3PM the food from lunch was still in the table. They were dilly-dallying because my mom & dad was not here and I was in the room. When I saw the kitchen so messy I immediately called their attention. My god. Kung di pa sulti-an di pa mu lihok maka boisit ha.

The only good thing about this day is that my allergies did not act up despite the dust in the house. Else we might just have to buy Blueair Air Purifiers for fresher air.

I’ve been driving for 3 weeks now and parking still freaks me out! Grrr. It’s cool, I usually just let the car creep and I take as much time as I want but still when the car is crooked it gets to me. I back up and do the thing all over again until the 3rd try and its still crooked I just leave it. What’s the secret huh?

We went in for the 1st session of Ozzy in Gymboree. He had fun. Read my entry here. Sorry but no pictures this time. Maybe next week.

Super lazy Saturday today - Ozzy is fast asleep, hubby is packing his things, he is scheduled to transfer to his own place today. It’s a small apartment but that’s okay, smaller place to clean! hehe.
