I envy my sister; she’s single and earns a lot so she uses her money to travel. She recently went to Macau with her friend and boy did she have fun! They went to the Macau Tower with glass flooring, they went shopping, they rode on the cable car in Guia Hill and of course, they went to the famous casinos!

My sister and her friend tried their luck in the slots. They won a bit and moved on to the poker tables but sadly they were not able to play! All the tables were taken and the people playing looked like they really were having an exciting time. I mean, who wouldn’t right?

Ok.

I may be one in a few weeks IF he gets the job. It’s all talk right now. Nothing has been signed - yet. But they are saying they want him for the job asap!

In 3 weeks actually.

I used to encourage him to try applying but now that it seems so real, why do I feel the walls closing on me faster than I can handle?

What about our son? He’ll miss his daddy. I’ll miss his daddy.

Tsk.Tsk. I should do more traveling don’t you think? I’ve been mostly around the Visayas area only. I’ve lived in Cagayan and Davao as well before settling in Cebu. To be honest, I’ve never really explored Cebu as much as I would have wanted! There are so many wonderful beaches, towns & churches in Cebu that I haven’t even been to!

Better start with that first before trying to go to other countries right?!

What about you Momie Milet, Mitch, N!cE, Thea & Kelly ? What are the places you’ve been to in the Philippines?

We went island hopping last Holy Wednesday. The family plus some workmates. Gotta love Cebu. 45 minutes away from the beautiful island of Mactan & poof! you’re in a new place. No more city noise. Just the sea and you. I l♥ve summer.

Gawd, I hate packing for myself. I always over-pack because I want to be prepared. You know in case we have to extend our stay or in-case I spill juice all over my ‘friday’ outfit etc.etc. For whatever reason, I always find myself over-packing.

So anyway, imagine packing for 2? Me, the over-packer has to pack for the baby as well. Diapers, wipes, bib, socks, milk, shirt, extra shirt ~ the works! How the heck will I fit everything in one luggage? We are only bringing one big luggage and one smaller bag to hand-carry. It’s easier this way since I can’t help Daddy J with the luggage since I am in-charge of Baby J also known as Ozzy! I am going crazy. I need help.<OA> hehehe.

Ozzy is sick right now, he has fever and is very weak. I’m not sure if it’s because of his teething or if it’s because he was stressed out by our recently concluded trip to Hong Kong.

I should be the one getting sick and taken cared of. The trip was fun and all, but gosh….the sheer amount of walking involved?!! I felt like my feet was stabbed a million times. My boots were surprisingly comfortable though.

Off topic: It’s my mom’s 54th birthday today, happy birthday to the coolest most understanding mother in the world. I know you will not be able to read this given that you are technologically challenged, but i just want to say how much I love you. I appreciate everything you have done and sacrificed for me and for our family. Thank you!

This December, there are 3 major occasions that I am excited about. First, Josh and I are celebrating our 1^st anniversary as husband and wife, second, of course there’s Christmas and lastly New Year.

I am excited yet I am dreading the whole hoopla because in every occasion we have a corresponding trip planned! My family has planned a trip to HK the weekend after our anniversary. Then we would go and spend the Christmas with Josh’s parents in Siquijor and New Year with my dad’s family in Tacloban.

That’s all fun and easy when you only have yourself to take care of, but imagine bringing a 16-month old baby boy? Not so fun and easy now huh!?

I’ve traveled with Oz 2 times already but always by boat. He has never ridden a plane. I was wondering how much taking off and the landing would bother him. I was looking for tips online and I have learned a whole lot! Try reading some here and here.

I will definitely bring lots of new toys, markers, inexpensive things that will keep Ozzy occupied. Also, never forget extra clothes (in case of poop accidents and vomit) and a medicine kit. The good thing about this plane ride is it is at night therefore, Ozzy should be asleep and that it is only a 4 hour flight. Phew. Imagine if it’s an 18-hour flight with stop overs? Good Luck!
