For last June 23-29, what happened to me?
Let’s do it Aggie style:
(high-low)
High: Got additional tasks from BR (good thing I check SPAM comments)
Low: No new one’s from P.U2B (Have you forgotten about me?)
High: Great SALE in Ayala Malls
Low: Was not able to buy anything for myself.
High: Little Ozzy’s gaining weight.
Low: He still has colds and slight cough.
High: Manny Pacquiao won against David Diaz.
Low: Was stuck at home watching his fight (sorry, I find it such a bore)
High: Still nominated for Week 15 as Filipino Blog of the Week.
Low: Been nominated for the 3rd week now, still have not won. (oh, well… o_o)
Have a great weekend people! ^_^

Highlights for last week, June 16-22, 2008!
- Got nominated as Filipino Blog of the Week (for week’s 113&114). Gosh, it feels great. Even if I don’t win being nominated is enough to validate my worth as a blogger. If you want you can vote for me HERE.
- Finally joined Entrecard. It’s fun and I got to visit blogs that normally I don’t go to.
- Joshua can finally count from 1-10 without help whatsoever. His version: wahn-too-tee-pu-payb-ess-ben-eyt-nan-tin then clap hands. Hooray. So Bisaya noh? Hahahaha.
- AND got a new phone courtesy of Boss/Daddy. Thanks Dad!
You can join the weekly roundup HERE. Enjoy the weekend Guys!
Last week started dreadful. Ozzy got sick, high fever + rashes. Fortunately for him it was not measles and now he’s perfectly fine. BUT those 3 days were so tiring for me. Little boy was extra clingy and would not eat. He lost 1.5kgs in 3 days.
The end of the week proved to be better for us. Josh finally got the documents he was waiting for from Norway to be submitted to the Consul for his VISA Application. Now, all we have to do is wait. Wait for his application to be approved..or (gasp!) denied.
*TODAY 6/20/2008* is officially his 1st day without work. So, we are +hoping+ his VISA will be approved. Please keep you fingers crossed people.
Updates on the little boy:
- He can now say his full first name “josh (pause) wah” (Joshua) & not just Ow-wah.
- Prefers ice cubes ti ice cream.
- He bites his nails. (ask!) I cut it short but he keeps on trying! I notice he bites it when he is bored.
- His bath time is crazy, sometimes he loves it sometimes I have difficulty in persuading him to take a bath!! Weird.
- He naps once a day instead of twice, sometimes in the morning, sometimes in the afternoon. (gotta establish a new schedule for this, I think it’s better he sleep in the afternoons, right?)
- Loves to imitate what we are saying. When we watch Wheel of Fortune he shouts the letters whenever contestants say them.
Generally, his vocabulary is fast expanding & getting better. We can easily understand what he wants & what he doesn’t want. At least with this we can lessen his tantrums because he is understood. Although…he is a bit stubborn and would insist on his way thus resulting to a few “crying” and a bit of shouting.
That’s it for last weeks highlights. I seem to have lost mojo in blogging..I think it’s because I don’t have tasks. Teehee. Hoping for more tasks next week.

Rest & Recreation. That was the highlight of my week last week. The long weekend was what made us decide to check-in a nearby resort & just have fun all weekend.
This is a photo-post. Photo’s speak for themselves.
Saturday Afternoon : We spent it in the beach. Ozzy hated the sand. But he was game enough to “pretend” to enjoy it for us.

Many things happened for me last week. Weekdays was pretty ‘work-filled’ so I had a whole weekend planned on ME time. If you haven’t visited my blog last week here’s a quick summary of the highlights.
- We received our mid-year BONUS.
- I had my hair colored.
- I had my nails done (super overdue..! I pity the girl who did my nails)
- Ozzy had an accident. (he’s fine now)
- Ozzy says the darn-est things. Daddy loves who?!
- Watched the much anticipated movie, Sex & the City with my equally gorgeous & fab friends.
The movie was fabulous of course but it made me realize the importance of friendship and having really ‘good’ friends. You know the kind of friend who knows your flaws but loves you anyway? Those kind of treasures are hard to find in life & one is lucky to even have 3 good friends in her lifetime. I am lucky. I have friends like that.

Some may have moved to a different city, met new friends, took up different hobbies, had found love; some lost *it*, but one thing remains obvious to me (and I’m sure they feel the same way) our bond is still as strong as ever. We may not see each other everyday, or talk every time but that doesn’t mean we have drifted part, right Lao? Love. Love.
I always look forward for weekends. Not only can I get to relax & unwind, I can also go out and spend ‘quality time’ with the family. I usually feel bad that Ozzy stays home all week so I make it a point to bring him with us even if its just groceries or errands.
Although we have not yet had our weekend getaway (as planned) becasue of conflicting schedules & uncooperative weather, that’s OK. Malling and small family gatherings kept us entertained throughout Saturday & Sunday. Lotsa pictures!
Saturday
We had dinner with hubby’s side of the family because a cousin is leaving for Canada. His wife is already there and they are planning on settling down there for good.

The little one is learning how to smile. See? But he needs more practice if you ask me! Take 2: Read more… »
I have mentioned before that I may become a single mom for a year right? Well, last week hubby signed the contract already. This week he has already passed his resignation letter. So, it’s pretty final already. We are hoping that his VISA application would go smoothly so he can leave as early as June 5th.
So were both pretty busy lately because am helping him out with his requirements, good wife that I am.
Also, I can’t help notice our power keeps on going out for an hour or so last week. Was it because of the weather? Anyway, I am just glad were into the business of selling generators because I cannot live without electricity & internet even for an hour. Can you?

Yup, I was super ecstatic last week when I finally gotten my blog back up. I’ve lost a few opps but, oh well I can’t rant over spilled milk right. So, I’ll just work harder for this blog to gain at least a few rank points.
Also, highlight worthy event for last week was Mother’s Day. Didn’t really make a big deal out of it. We went to my in-laws to have lunch there. It was my FIL’s birthday. It was fun, I enjoy it when Ozzy gets to spend time with my in-laws because he hardly does. Both hubby’s parents are based in Siquijor where their business is located. So anytime spent with them is always good.
Lastly, Confessions of a Supermodel Wannabe turned 1 month last week. I’m getting more & more hooked into blogging these days.

Oohh before I forget, my good friend Mike from college (heart throb Mr.Campus figure) entered the Colgate Fresh Confidence Video Contest. He is the one in the middle wearing a white long sleeved shirt.
His video is super funny! Good one Mike! Check it out here. And if its not too much to ask you can vote for him as well. Ok?

Week 15&16 Highlight : Suspended/new Hair
Week 17 Highlight: Goodbye & Hello
Week 18&19 Highlight: Sumilon
My dad sold us his 10 year old Toyota Corolla XE. Well maintained with new tires. For young newly weds like us, the terms for this car is a steal! Pay whenever my dad says. But of course we have already given 1/3 as down payment and the rest will be paid by the end of the year.
Happy.Happy.Joy.Joy.
Our 1st car was okay, it served its purpose. But its time to upgrade. Roadtrip!!!
We went island hopping last Holy Wednesday. The family plus some workmates. Gotta love Cebu. 45 minutes away from the beautiful island of Mactan & poof! you’re in a new place. No more city noise. Just the sea and you. I l♥ve summer.

Heading home to the City.
