Aggie Wants To Know - ME!

Aggie Wants to Know!

Anyway, for this week, I want to SEE you. Post your most recent pictures. It doesn’t matter if it doesn’t look great. I want to see more than what is a normal avatar. Take note that it needs to be RECENT. Can you believe I can use an avatar dated 2 years ago? Time for things to change :)

Secondly, I want to KNOW you. Just YOU. Sans kids, the husband, just YOU. I have a lot of ME tags in my blog – you can use that. What do I want to read: You – Now. It can be as simple as “I love Coke.” or as complex as “I am the crossroads of my life.” - Aggie

I chose this picture because out of all pictures I have THIS one is the most candid without being ugly. This was taken on a friends birthday dinner at Mooon Cafe in IT Park, Lahug. The date? August 30, 2008. That’s actually a month ago - sorry about that. Still, the fact remains. That’s me, unedited, unguarded and not “posing” as I usually when a lens is pointed anywhere near me.

I have lots of me tags in this blog alone and even more in my other 3 blogs. In this post I’ll sum it all up with a few sentences so I’ll not bore you to death. It is difficult for me to talk about myself because I still haven’t really figured out who I am and who I want to become. I am 25 and I am still finding my way.

I grew up quickly when I got pregnant with Joshua. I’ve been a party girl and at least I can say I’m done with those things and I’m happily settled now. Unlike others, I don’t have much drama’s in life. Up until now I’ve been sheltered and comfortable. I have a happy family and its not just a facade. We’re really a happy and a close-knit family at that. For my parents I am eternally grateful.

I am a middle child so I struggled with “not being seen” when I was younger. I guess that’s why I crave for attention even now.

I may seem snooty but really I am not. I love going to the beach. I love spending time with my friends. A quiet coffee date with them or a noisy house party whichever sounds perfect.

I am addicted to blogging and the online world. I don’t think I can live in a place where’s there;s no internet connection or I’ll go crazy. I am a city girl and I enjoy the hustle and bustle of city life that’s why I wish to visit New York.

I dream of a house with white picket fence and big lawn someday. I want to have more kids, preferably a girl next. I am one of the lucky few who married her great love. I am a dreamer, but a realist (contradicting? I know). I love to shop but I am super thrifty (I have lots of ukay2x finds). I talk when I am happy; I am withdrawn when I have something on my mind. I love the Philippines, Cebu in particular and I would be very happy just to stay put.

But I am open to changes, I love to travel and I crave for an adventure. I strive to be independent. Love me or hate me, I am me and I have accepted the fact that I cannot please everyone.

I have no pretensions, no hidden agenda’s. What I write about are not half-truths. I hate liars. I hate cheaters and people who manipulate.

Right now I am a mom and a wife. Those two things are my priorities in life. Even if my own wants are set aside, as long as my family is happy, I don’t mind.

More AWTK participants here.

Enjoy the weekend. xoxo
