I bought something for myself today. It’s from my “raket” money. As my husband would put it, something I worked hard for. Teehee. You see I never buy big things with my own money, aside from I cannot afford it, I always feel that such a big expense like laptops, phone and camera’s should be handled by other people (i.e. my dad!)

Now that I am earning I should start investing with my own money and I should start ‘rewarding’ myself sometimes. Thus, welcome my Canon Ixus 80IS. It’s an 8-megapixel, 3x optical zoom ultra-compact digital camera with 2.5-inch colour screen, SD/SDHC/MMC/MMCplus/HC MMCplus storage, Optical Image Stabilisation, Face Detection AF/AE/FE and DIGIC III image processor.

You can read more about it and its specs in this page, because all I really see is a pretty camera. The specs are just a plus to me. And you want to know what? It’s the perfect shade of deep red (brownish really) so I love it. They had pink mind you, but I felt it was too girly for me. Ha!.

AND as if I wasn’t sold enough on the cam itself, they were having a promotion. I got a free Calvin Klein shades with my cam ^_^ Not bad.
