Should I OR Should I????

I always remember Jennifer Hudson’s character in Sex and the City saying he ‘Louis’ was rented & I kept laughing because she was just being real. She never pretended it was hers, she blurted it was just rented.

And when Carrie gave her a real LV bag over the Holidays, I wished at that very moment, I was Carrie’s assistant.

I don’t want a rented bag, I want it mine.

I want it real.

Wahhh, But I can’t. I have to save. I have to save for our dream house.

My son enjoys watching videos of animals, letters, numbers & sounds. He currently has Brainy Baby Videos, Brilliant Baby and Disney Video’s. Most of these are either given to me or are free from his 900gram Gain Milk.

I was looking for a different video for him because I am really bored with the one’s he has now. A lot of my mommy friends suggested Baby Einstein because it is enjoyable & their kids love it as well.

So I looked. I found a wide selection of different kinds of Baby CD’s, VCD’s and DVD’s in one of the kids store in Ayala Mall. I was ecstatic. They were all there…as soon as I found the Baby Einstein DVD and flipped it over to see the price I gasped, Php1,500.00/each!!

OMG. I thought it might be around Php500-700/each only and not Php1,500.00!

Good thing my phone rang, my friends were looking for me already. We were gonna watch Sex & the City Movie so I told the lady I’d come back. I really will, but I’d think about it first.

Is the Baby Einstein really that expensive?

Most kids enjoy animals. That’s a fact. They are amazed by these little creatures and how they are very different from us humans. My son, he loves dogs (calls them all puppies no matter how huge some are), cats (are called meow) and fishes (pishy).

We have a fish bowl here at home with no fish, so it got me thinking, why not buy a pair of goldfish for my boy! They are perfect pets, think about it, low maintenance and easy to feed! There are lots of different kinds of fish food in the market for the different types of fishes out there.

I tried visiting the site http://www.aquariumguys.com/fish-food.html and I learned you can buy by brand or by type of fish food. There are freshwater fish food, carnivore fish food, bottom-feeder fish food and of course, goldfish food. I didn’t know there were different kinds of fish food, when I was young we’d feed the pet fish bread! That’s why they didn’t last long. Gone to fishy heaven early, because we were not feeding them right.

So anyway, this weekend, we’ll go to SM and start looking for the perfect first pet for my little Ozzy. I’ll post pictures when we have them.
