Pool Time

We spent our Monday holiday at the pool in a nearby hotel in Mactan. It was a beautiful day. The sun was shining but it was not too hot, a bit windy even.

The last time I brought the little boy to a pool was about 3 months ago. It was a horrible experience for him (and for me!) He was crying all the time. He never wanted to let go & was shaking like a leaf.

I was clueless on why he was so afraid. He loved taking a bath! He even cries when bath time over, so why cry now?

I guess, the huge body of water scared him. Maybe it was too unfamiliar. I blame myself for not acquainting him to pools at an early age.

Fortunately this time, he actually enjoyed himself. Although it took us 30-45 minutes to convince him to join us in the water, it was worth it. Baby steps. When summer comes, Ozzy will be beach or pool ready!

***Note: If you’re all wondering why he’s not smiling in the picture (or in any of his pictures); that’s because he never does. He just stares at the camera.
