Tagged by N!cE of Momma Stuff. It said I should write down top 5 things I want my child to know before he grows up. Basically, top 5 values I should impart to my child to make him be a better person.
First, I want my kid(s) to grow up with respect for their elders, neighbors, playmates, yaya, driver, teacher, vendors and everyone they deal with. I want him to know everyone is equal.
Second, It is important to me that my kid(s) have faith in God. I want my child to understand why we go to church every Sunday and why we pray everyday & not do it because mum says so. Simply, I want him to know God.
Third, I would want my child to know the value of hard work; that not everything he likes he can get. If he wants something he should do it and never rely on others. I want him to be independent.
Fourth, that mommy and daddy will support him in anything he is into provided that it is not violent or destructive. I want my child to grown up with an open mind and adventurous spirit.
Lastly, I want him to know that he is loved. Mostly by me(hehe!); he is loved by everybody. A child who grows up knowing he is loved will be confident, happy, contented, and will share that love to others.
I am now tagging Ris, Vina and Thea.

Yes my friends, early Sunday morning, Oz had no diapers on, we were lying in our bed reading a book when suddenly, baby boy stopped me from reading, patted his thingie and said, “mommy!”. We got up & went to the CR right away. I help Ozzy take out his thing and voila! he pee’d.
I am so proud.
I was never a fan of Monday’s. Today is not an exception. I have a lot of pending jobs piled up in my table. I hate seeing my table cluttered so I scramble to finish everything. Grrr. Why are so many things due this month! I hate January’s because that is the time we renew our Business Permit and its a tedious process. (Our goverment’s non-efficient process is NOT helping either)
Anyway my eyes almost popped out of its socket earlier this morning. I was doing my usual rounds of checking emails, blogs, friendster, myspace, multiply, blogstats, im’s etc2x; I logged into Wordpress and clicked it’s dashboard when this page came up.

Seriously? Serioussslllyyy? 730 days?! Hah! That made me hate Mondays even more. I knew THAT was impossible so here I am hours after checking in again. And ta-da..I’m back baby! 730 days my a.s.s.

…and impromtu pic pa! What more if he’ll get ready daw.(the nerve..) hahaha

Every night before we go to bed, Ozzy and I say our bedtime prayer. I have been teaching him how to do the sign of the cross for some time now. I’m glad he’s catching on but he still gets it wrong! hmpf.
Me: In the name of the Father
Ozzy: (left) Hand on forehead.
Me: the Son
Ozzy: hand on chest.
Me: and the Holy..
Ozzy: hand on forehead.again!
Me: Spirit..
Ozzy: hand on chest.again!
Me: AMEN.
Ozzy: BIG Clap.BIG Smile.
Hey, at least he got it 50% of the time. By the way, he favors his left hand. Hmmm should I be bothered? My sis says lefties have a harder time because standard things/equipment are made for righties. Hmmm. We’ll see.
Also, my boy likes his books. Although when I read to him, I make sure I do it as fast as I can because he gets bored easily with the page and insists I flip it right away. That’s why I never finish a story, I just summarize it for him. Or I just point at interesting things or character and tell him their names.
We’re also trying to teach him to pee and poo in his potty. Its hard work. He pee’s everywhere! But hopefully, in a few months we’ve trained him enough. Crossing-fingers.
